Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has provided an insight into the plans of attacker Eden Hazard beyond the summer.
Belgian international Hazard has of course endured another campaign to forget to date.
Amid persistent injury concerns, and the scintillating form of Vinicius Jr, the ex-Chelsea standout has been afforded starts in just seven of Real’s 36 La Liga fixtures, notching a paltry single goal across all competitions in the process.
Speculation, in turn, had inevitably begun to spread of late that Hazard was primed to seek out an exit from the Bernabeu upon the transfer window swinging back open, to get into at least some form of rhythm ahead of the Qatar World Cup.
If the latest comments on the part of his manager are anything to go by, though, then this, in fact, looks altogether unlikely to be the case.
Speaking in a press conference on Saturday afternoon, Carlo Ancelotti was drawn on the future of his out-of-favour wide-man, and went on to confirm that Hazard has already come to the decision to stay put and fight for his place in the Spanish capital next season.

‘I agree with him’
Elsewhere in his latest pre-match press conference, Ancelotti was also keen to heap praise on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, ahead of Real’s Champions League final showdown with Jurgen Klopp’s troops later this month:
‘Salah has said that in his position he is the best in the world and I think he is right. I agree with him. In his position, yes, he is the best in the world.’
