Erling Haaland has bid a final farewell to the Borussia Dortmund fans ahead of what is his final appearance in their colours following the agreement of a move to Manchester City.
Earlier in May, the Citizens announced that they had agreed to pay the release clause for the Norweigan striker, thought to stand around 60m euros, to bring him to the Etihad this summer.
‘Manchester City can confirm that we have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the Club on 1st July 2022’, the club revealed.

In doing so, they nipped what was threatening to be one of the transfer stories of the summer in the bud, adding the prolific goalscorer to the side who have already scored the most goals in the Premier League this season in a scary partnership for the rest of world football.
Haaland says his goodbyes
And, ahead of their final league game of the season against Hertha Berlin, Haaland went over to the Dortmund fans during the warm up to show his appreciation for their support and his gratitude for the 18 months that he has spent with the club.
During that time, the 21-year-old netted an astounding 85 goals in 88 appearances.
