Everton star Richarlison has taken to social media on Sunday evening, to poke fun at all associated with Liverpool.
It has of course proven a day of heartbreak on the red half of the Merseyside divide thus far.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Wolverhampton Wanderers to Anfield as part of the final round of fixtures of the Premier League campaign.
The Reds headed into proceedings in the knowledge that the club’s title hopes were essentially out of their hands, with Manchester City sitting a point clear at the division’s summit, ahead of closing out their season at home to Aston Villa.
Amid chaotic scenes across the Premier League landscape, though, late in the action, Liverpool’s title dream remained alive and well.
This came as Klopp’s troops recovered from a goal down to surge out to a 3-1 advantage owing to goals from all of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson.

The trouble for the Merseysiders, though, was that this came with Man City also in the process of staging a stunning comeback of their own.
After slipping into a shock 2-0 deficit at the hands of Villa, the Sky Blues, in the space of a little over five minutes, came roaring back to take the lead courtesy of Ilkay Gundogan’s double either side of a strike from Rodri.

Pep Guardiola and co, in turn, held on, to retain their Premier League crown, and make it four league titles in the space of five years.
Richarlison pokes fun
And, as alluded to above, one individual who appeared altogether keen to rub salt in the fresh wounds of all associated with Liverpool on the back of this evening’s action being brought to a close was none other than Richarlison.
Taking to his official social media platforms, the Brazilian, who of course plies his trade on the other half of the Merseyside divide, posted a simple image, making clear that he found Klopp’s troops being pipped to the Premier League crown altogether amusing:
