Winks on the way out
Turning attentions towards potential departures from the Lilywhite half of north London, amid a predicted clear-out on the part of Antonio Conte this summer, one player on the ‘for sale’ list comes in the form of Harry Winks.
Having fallen ever further down the midfield pecking order at Tottenham on the back of Rodrigo Bentancur’s January arrival, English international Winks is understood to have one foot out the door in the midst of interest from both Southampton and Newcastle United.
Spurs, for their part, have slapped a price-tag of around £25 million on the 26-year-old.
Elsewhere, expected to follow Winks’ lead in finding a new home over the coming months are all of loan trio Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and, just a year on from his arrival, Bryan Gil.
