Tottenham look set to complete their first bit of summer business very soon.
Spurs had an excellent 2021/22 campaign that saw them beat Arsenal to the final Champions League spot.
As well as being able to attract a higher caliber of player, Champions League football also provides additional revenue to the club.
And now, it appears that the Lilywhites are already putting their Champions League funds to use as it has been reported that Tottenham are set to complete two new signings with Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic joining on free transfers. The pair will both sign two-year contracts.

Tottenham were not the only English side in for Perisic, though, with reports elsewhere claiming Chelsea invited the Croatian for a medical but he chose to link back up with Antonio Conte, who he won the Serie A with in 2020/21.
It is added that Perisic, 33, will sign a contract worth £75,000-a-week with the north Londoners.

No weekly wage has been reported for Fraser Forster, but given he is only expected to be used a back-up option to Hugo Lloris, it is hard to see him being able to demand too much of a fee.
