Tottenham are among three clubs tracking Everton striker Richarlison following the Brazilian’s survival in the Premier League with the Toffees.
Seemingly in freefall, Everton survived on the penultimate day of the season courtesy of a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace at Goodison Park, but they are far from out of the woods yet.
Such is their financial peril that both Leeds United and Burnley have previously been in touch with the Premier League in an attempt to get an explanation as to their monetary woes.
As a result of such issues, it is widely expected that one or both of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison will depart this summer, with Arsenal and Newcastle United thought to be keen on Calvert-Lewin.
It is Richarlison, however, who is attracting more attention at present.
Trio of clubs chase Brazilian
As per the Daily Mail, Tottenham, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are all ready to fight it out for the Brazilian forward’s signature. The 25-year-old, who can play through the middle as a lone forward or on the wing,
‘A number of clubs have shown an interest in the 25-year-old; Tottenham among those that are monitoring developments closely’, they report.
Richarlison would certainly be an interesting prospect for Antonio Conte, as he would be able to provide cover for both Harry Kane and Heung Min-Son when required. As has been the case, season upon season, however, it is hard to see a talented player such as the Brazilian choosing to play second fiddle to the dynamic duo.
