A piece of footage stemming from the England national team’s training ground this weekend has piqued widespread attentions across Liverpool’s fanbase.
The clip in question centers on Red star Trent Alexander-Arnold, and international teammate Tammy Abraham.
On the back of a drill amongst Gareth Southgate’s squad coming to a close, AS Roma standout Abraham, fresh off a stellar debut campaign in the Italian capital, approached TAA.
A brief exchange is then seen unfolding between the pair, with sections of eagle-eyed Liverpool fans convinced that Abraham’s message to their side’s star full-back surrounded a potential move to Anfield:
“Trent, good luck. I’m joining you guys next season,” the hitman is understood to have jokingly suggested, giving rise to a wry grin spreading across Alexander-Arnold’s face:
Would you take Tammy? #LFC pic.twitter.com/NOqzC7aOM1

Abraham’s message, whilst evidently intended in a lighthearted manner, has nevertheless since sparked widespread discussion amongst the Liverpool faithful.
With the Reds expected to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements not only this summer, but potentially in 2023, too, amid mounting uncertainty surrounding the futures of both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, many have revealed their takes that Jurgen Klopp could do far worse than setting his sights on Roma’s star hitman:
Yes we really need a number 9, if Benfica will ask some absurd amount for Nunez then Tammy will be a great option.

I trust Klopp with transfers more than I trust my girlfriend. Only few of his signings didn’t perform as expected – like Karius, Keita, and few others. If he’s signing Tammy then he will turn him to a world class striker.

I’d take Tammy every day of the week

In a heartbeat

Others, however, appear adamant that Liverpool should steer well clear of Abraham’s signing:
1. Target man doesn’t suit in Klopp’s style
2. Mou hates Klopp. Didn’t sell De Bruyne to Klopp back in 2014. Don’t see it happening really.— Rasedul haq (@HaqRasedul) June 4, 2022
Absolutely not.

Has a very hard time seeing him fit into Klopp’s system where a lot is about high pressure and lots of mobility. Does not say he is a bad player more wrong type of player
