Manchester United are interested in the services of Juventus and France midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports.
Rabiot is currently plying his trade for Serie A powerhouse Juventus, who he joined on a free transfer from PSG in 2019.
The central midfielder has had a mixed stint with Juventus. He has featured 129 times for the Turin-based outfit, but his form has been inconsistent, something that has not been helped by him being played out of position on the left-hand-side of midfield a fair bit this past season.
Now, with the summer window upon us, it appears Juventus are trying to get rid of Rabiot, who has just one year left on his current contract.
As per the Manchester Evening News, Calciomercato suggest Man United are ‘intensifying dialogue’ to sign Rabiot from Juventus in the upcoming transfer window. It is suggested Juve would accept just €15m for the 27-year-old:

Given Manchester United need some fresh legs in midfield following the departures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic, targeting Rabiot does make some sense.
However, the Red Devils should be wary of Rabiot’s agent who is his mother, Veronique Rabiot.
Veronique is a very vocal character who is not afraid to express her thoughts. One of her more public spats in recent times was with Kylian Mbappe’s family during Euro 2020 last year.
And as Manchester United are, or should be anyway, trying to rebuild a more harmonious squad without negative influences, it may be in the best interest of the Manchester powerhouse to avoid trying to sign Rabiot.
