Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans has cast doubt over his future at the King Power.
This comes with the Belgian out of contract in 2023 and seemingly not eager to put pen to paper on a fresh deal.
Reports earlier this year claimed that Arsenal have identified the 25-year-old as one of their top targets as Mikel Arteta plots another big summer in the transfer market, with Tielemans’ lack of a new deal sparking interest from several clubs, including Arsenal.
Arteta was also said to be eyeing a left-footed midfielder who can operate as an eight on the left of a three, which Tielemans can.
Now, the midfielder has handed Arsenal, and any other potential suitors, hope they can land him this summer.
When asked about the possibility of leaving Leicester recently, Tielemans had this to say:
“That is not out of the question, he said. “I feel very good at Leicester, but of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career & sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way.”

Given the length of Tielemans’ current contract, Leicester could be forced into selling him this summer, rather than losing him for free next year.
