Takumi Minamino could be set to depart Liverpool this summer with a number of Premier League sides interested.
According to journalist David Lynch, Minamino’s agent, Yusuke Akiyama, is currently in Europe holding meetings with a number of clubs as he looks to finalise a move for his client.
It is added that the Reds are willing to let the Japan international go this summer for a fee in the region of £17m, with his future expected to be resolved quickly amid strong interest from a number of sides.
In the Premier League, Leeds United, Southampton, Wolves and newly-promoted Fulham are all interested in the forward. Jesse Marsch is keen to link back up with Minamino after a spell together at RB Salzburg, whilst the Saints are looking to sign Minamino for a second time after a successful loan spell in 2020/21.
Outside of England, AS Monaco are credited with an interest as the French side look to reinvest the money they will receive from Aurelien Tchouameni’s transfer to Real Madrid.

Minamino’s Liverpool stint
Minamino joined Liverpool from Salzburg in January of 2020 and has since featured 55 times for the Reds.
The Japan international has never been able to hold down a regular starting berth, though, and was the Reds’ 6th choice forward in 2021/22 behind Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.
