The representative of Newcastle United attacker Miguel Almiron has, on Friday, provided an insight into his client’s future with the club.
It is of course expected to prove a summer of change at St. James’ Park over the months ahead.
This comes with those in a position of power on Tyneside, on the back of a stellar close to the campaign under the watch of Eddie Howe, keen to make use of the club’s new-found riches to kick on towards the Premier League’s European spots.
A whole host of high-profile names from across the continent, in turn, have been tipped to link up with the Magpies ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
To make room for such arrivals, though, will of course need to be departures from Newcastle’s ranks, too.
And one such player to have been pushed as a potential avenue towards fresh funds in the media of late comes in the form of the aforementioned Miguel Almiron.
Paraguayan international Almiron is fresh off something of a hit-and-miss season at St. James’, which saw him notch just a solitary goal contribution across 30 Premier League appearances.
If the latest comments on the part of the attacker’s agent are anything to go by, though, then such woes look altogether unlikely to cost him a spot in the plans of Eddie Howe moving forward.
Speaking to Versus Radio on Universo 970, Daniel Campos confirmed that neither he nor Almiron ‘see any possibility of change’ this summer, going as far as to label Newcastle ‘the best club in the world’:
Miguel Almiron’s agent has claimed the player will not be leaving #NUFC this summer.
“He is at the best club in the world. He is happy with prominence; I don’t see any possibility of change now.
