France and Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane is set to become the new Paris Saint Germain boss after years of trying to convince him, according to widespread reports.
The Parisians have been chasing Zidane to man their dugout ever since he left Real Madrid after his first spell, and amid expectation that Mauricio Pochettino will depart following a disappointing season, they are once again targeting the Champions League specialist.
Zidane won three consecutive European trophies with Real Madrid during his stint in charge at the Santiago Bernabeu, and had seemingly kept his eye on any potential vacancy at the head of the French national team, but the Ligue 1 Champions are thought to have finally made a breakthrough in their approach for the 49 year old.

It comes with Pochettino soon to be out of work, amid a reshuffle at the Parc Des Princes following star man Kylian Mbappe’s contract renewal.
Luis Campos joins the setup
Meanwhile, highly-rated transfer guru Luis Campos has joined PSG as a ‘club advisor’ following stints at Monaco and Lille.

He will replace Leonardo, who departed at the end of the season as part of a continuing revamp. Campos has contributed to Ligue 1 wins for both Lille and Monaco during his spells with each, and was responsible for the additions of the likes of Fabinho, Victor Osimhen and Renato Sanches across both clubs.
