The 27-year-old is Xavi Hernández’s priority signing if Frenkie de Jong is sold to Manchester United.

The €55 million fee paid for Ferran Torres back in January is likely to be referenced during negotiations.
Meanwhile, the player has made it very clear his intention to move to Camp Nou.

De Jong open to Barça exit
Frenkie de Jong has privately admitted his willingness to sign for Manchester United, according to Diario Sport.
The Dutch midfielder is understood to be very disappointed at Barcelona making him available for transfer.
