Christian Eriksen has spoken out on transfer interest surrounding him amid links to Tottenham and Manchester United.
The Dane is currently a free agent after spending six months on loan with Premier League outfit Brentford, following his return to football on the back of his collapse at Euro 2020.
Eriksen looked as sharp as ever for the Bees and, as a result, is generating a decent amount of interest in his services this summer.
Tottenham have been linked a fair bit, with Manchester United’s interest coming to the fore in the last few days:

Now, after Denmark’s clash with Austria, Eriksen spoke about transfer interest and stated he is in no rush to decide his future:
“No, and they know that too,” Eriksen told reporters, as per Bold.dk.
“There are many criteria and many different things inside such a decision. Sometimes it goes fast in football, other times a little slower. You are not in control of it yourself. I have to make the best decision and not rush anything through.
“My phone stays on, but I also know my agent well enough to know that he only calls if there’s something exciting.”
Whilst Eriksen’s comments are nothing that will excite United fans, they are nowhere near as bad as comments made by another Manchester United target, Frenkie de Jong, on Tuesday evening:
“You’re always flattered when teams show interest in you as a player,” Said De Jong. “But I am at the biggest club in the world at the moment and I feel fine there. So there’s no news.”
