Chelsea are once again on the look for a striker following a hugely underwhelming season from Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian looks set to return to Inter Milan with a deal currently being worked on.
The Blues are therefore on the hunt for a replacement and a player who they want is Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski on Chelsea’s list
TRUE✅ behind Gabriel Jesus is also Robert Lewandowski on the list of @ChelseaFC for a new striker. However, Chelsea know that they are behind Barcelona @FCBarcelona and Paris @PSG_inside in the Poker for Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski is a name on Chelsea’s list of striker targets, according to BILD reporter Christian Falk.
Gabriel Jesus is another player who the west London club are targeting and the Brazilian is higher on their list than the Bayern striker.
But, news from the Times today suggests that Jesus is closing in on a move to Arsenal.
So that could see Thomas Tuchel’s side step up their interest in Lewandowski.
Barcelona and PSG competiton
Although, in the race to sign the Pole, the Blues are trailing both Barcelona and PSG.
It is understood that Lewa is holding out for a move to Barça.
But there are serious question marks over whether the Catalan club could even afford a move.
🚨 Barcelona vice president about the club’s financial situation:
“It is complex. The club’s funds are negative for €500M. Furthermore, some €150M additional losses could be added at the end of this year. We have to reduce the total wages by 160M and go down to 400M.”🇪🇸 #Barca

Bayern want in excess of €40 million for the striker and then they would need to offer him a big wage.
Elsewhere, PSG are close to landing another striker, with the French club confident of signing Gianluca Scamacca.
With positions of Barça and PSG, this could limit Lewandowski’s options to leave Bayern and offer Chelsea the chance to swoop in.
