Word stemming from the Italian media suggests that West Ham United have turned their attentions towards Italy amid their ongoing pursuit of attacking reinforcements.
The latest player in the sights of the Irons? Giacomo Raspadori.
The info comes courtesy of Italian outlet Calciomercato, who suggest that those in a position of power at the London Stadium are ready to rival the likes of AC Milan and Juventus in the hunt for the talented 22-year-old.
Raspadori is fresh off a fine season in Serie A, which saw him catch the eye en route to 10 goals and five assists in 36 appearances.
The Sassuolo star has also long established himself as a regular in Roberto Mancini’s Italian national team setup, with his 13 appearances to date having given rise to three goals.
It now remains to be seen whether any of the interested parties are willing to meet the alleged €30 million price-tag on the forward’s head.

Raspadori, of course, is far from the only Sassuolo star to have been tipped for a departure from the Mapei Stadium this summer.
Attacking partner in crime Gianluca Scamacca is also understood to be attracting widespread interest, amid links with the likes of Arsenal, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
And long-time star man Domenico Berardi has too seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines of late, amid suggestions that Juventus have identified the Italian international as an alternative to first-choice right wing target Angel Di Maria.
