Premier League outfit Leeds United have, on Friday, confirmed a fresh addition to the club’s personnel ranks.
The latest player to have opted to take his talents to Elland Road ahead of the 2022/23 campaign? Marc Roca.
Bayern Munich outcast Roca had of course been widely tipped to make the move to make the move to west Yorkshire over the course of the last couple of weeks.
This comes with the 25-year-old fresh off an altogether underwhelming campaign in the Bundesliga, and Leeds on the lookout for reinforcements in the middle of the park, amid mounting speculation surrounding the future of star man Kalvin Phillips.
Manchester City are working on both Marc Cucurella and Kalvin Phillips deals. First official bid for Cucurella will be submitted soon, while Phillips is considered the main target to replace Fernandinho. 🔵 #MCFC

In turn, it has not come as much of a surprise to hear of the Whites, on Friday, unveiling Roca as the latest reinforcement to Jesse Marsch’s ranks.
As confirmed in a series of posts across the club’s website and social media platforms, the former Espanyol standout has put pen to paper on terms with Leeds through the summer of 2026.
The deal, it is understood, has set the Peacocks back an initial fee in the region of 12 million euros.

Roca, of course, marks the 3rd addition of what has proven an altogether fruitful opening to the summer window on the part of the transfer team at Leeds.
Having escaped the drop back to the Championship by the skin of their teeth last time out, those in a position of power at Elland Road have evidently come to the conclusion that the club’s ranks are in dire need of reinforcement.
In turn, alongside Roca, both Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen have made the move to Yorkshire from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
