An insight into the plans of incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag for Alejandro Garnacho has, on Sunday, been provided.
Regular viewers of United will of course be well aware of the reputation being built for himself by Garnacho at Old Trafford.
This comes with the 17-year-old, despite his tender years, having long emerged as one of the shining lights in the Red Devils’ famed academy.
In fact, so impressive was the midfielder en route to Young Player of the Year honours across the recently-completed campaign, that he was even rewarded with a first pair of appearances at senior level by the since-departed Ralf Rangnick, in Premier League meetings with Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

Elsewhere, Garnacho recently caught the eye on the international stage, too, courtesy of his stellar exploits with Argentina’s U20s at the famed Toulon Tournament:

And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, then it appears that Garnacho’s talents have not gone at all unnoticed on the part of the man set to oversee proceedings on the touchline at Old Trafford from next season on.
As per a report from The Mirror, Erik ten Hag is planning to afford the attack-minded midfielder a considerable role as part of Manchester United’s first team setup in 2022/23.
This comes after the Dutch tactician was granted a request to be set up with a subscription to MUTV last month, to watch the Red Devils’ latest crop of breakthrough talent in action against Nottingham Forest.
Garnacho, for his part, proved the star of the show, notching a brace en route to an eventual 3-1 triumph.
And such form, it is understood, did enough to prove to ten Hag the teenage prodigy’s worthiness of a chance to impress in his senior setup moving forward.
