Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion are set to announce the club’s 2nd signing of the summer over the coming days, according to reports.
The latest player primed to take his talents to England’s south coast? Simon Adingra.
Youngster Adingra is fresh off something of a breakthrough campaign in 2021/22.
After being afforded his senior bow by Nordsjælland late in the season prior, the explosive winger lit up Denmark’s top-flight last time out, on his way to nine goals and four assists across 31 league appearances.
And, evidently, such endeavours, so early in his fledgling career, quickly piqued the attentions of those in a position of power at Premier League outfit Brighton.
In turn, on the back of a fresh round of negotiations this week, on Friday, the Seagulls are widely understood to have struck a deal for Adingra.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the seasiders are expected to announce the Ivorian starlet’s signing ‘very soon’, in a transfer worth a sum in the region of €8 million.

Adingra will be 4th most expensive player sold from FCN behind Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Emre Mor.

Adingra’s arrival, of course, will mark the 2nd addition to Graham Potter’s ranks at the Amex this summer.
This comes after another highly-regarded up-and-coming talent, in the form of Paraguayan international Julio Enciso, too committed to terms with the club earlier this month.
Unlike Enciso, though, Adingra is not expected to be afforded an immediate first-team spot, instead tipped to head out on loan for the coming season.
