Arsenal have warned that William Saliba is not for sale at any price this summer amid interest from clubs around Europe in their young defender.
The French defender joined Arsenal in 2019, but is yet to make an appearance for the senior side, instead having spent three seasons on loan in Ligue 1. In his most recent season, he excelled for Olympique Marseilles, picking up the Ligue 1 young player of the year award in the process.

And, as a result, there was concern that he may be keen to test himself at pastures new, but Saliba himself seemed to confirm his future in an interview with French media, telling Telefoot that ‘I belong to Arsenal, I still have two years left. I will be back with Arsenal’.

Such comments, however, have not prevented interest, with Marseilles keen to make the loan move permanent this summer, and AC Milan also having been credited with an interest in the French international after they missed out on Sven Botman, with the Lille man heading to Newcastle.
As per the Express, however, Arsenal have made their stance on Saliba very clear, revealing that he is not for sale at any price this summer, such is their belief in the 21-year-old centre-back, who they expect to compete for a first-team spot next campaign.
And, with plenty of games for the Gunners next season following their return to European football, it is almost certain that Saliba will get his chance to impress Mikel Arteta and the Emirates faithful.
