Liverpool number one Alisson has been full of praise for teammate Jordan Henderson in a recent interview.
Henderson has been on Liverpool’s books for over a decade now, joining the Reds from Sunderland in 2011 for over £16m.
At the time the move was scoffed at by many, but Henderson has since proven himself to be a valuable asset on an off the field for Liverpool.
Now, Alisson has been praising Henderson for his ability to make himself an option on the pitch:
“Hendo is a guy that I look for building up,” Alisson said. “He is always making an option, even if he has a man at his back and he is a guy who can do that. I really trust him to give the ball, then he can do anything he wants and is capable of doing.
“I look a lot to him because he is really visible on the pitch, the way he moves, and he is someone that really runs for the team. As we have a team that likes to build up from behind, we need players in midfield always giving options.”

But whilst Alisson is clearly still a big fan of Henderson, Liverpool probably need to start looking to replace him.
This comes with Henderson now 32 years of age and the Englishman having lost some of his speed.
