Tottenham have announced their 4th signing of the 2022 summer transfer window on Friday.
In a statement put out by Spurs on Friday morning, they confirmed that Richarlison has joined them from Everton and has penned a deal until 2027:
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Richarlison from Everton, subject to a work permit,” wrote Tottenham.
“The Brazilian international has signed a contract with us until 2027.”

Richarlison is believed to have set Spurs back a fairly substantial £60m in a move that clearly suggests Antonio Conte has the full backing of Daniel Levy.
Following Richarlison’s capture, it is believed Tottenham, who have already signed Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma this summer, will now turn their attention towards Barcelona’s Clement Lenglet:

Will Richarlison start for Spurs?
Such a high transfer sum suggests that Richarlison will be brought straight into Tottenham’s starting line-up.
However, Dejan Kulusevski really made the right-wing his own during the second half of 2021/22, leaving little room in the north Londoners’ attack.
Of course, given Richarlison’s versatility, he can provide cover for all of Heung-min Son, Harry Kane and Kulusevski. But it is hard to see him being too happy with a bit-part role.
