A fresh insight into Tyrell Malacia’s imminent move to Manchester United has, on Saturday, been provided.
It is of course common knowledge that Dutch talent Malacia is primed to link up with the Red Devils ahead of next season.
This comes after fellow countryman Erik ten Hag sanctioned the Feyenoord star’s signing as his first piece of incoming business at Old Trafford, evidently impressed by Malacia’s form over the course of the last couple of Eredivisie seasons.
The 22-year-old, previously tipped to take his talents to France with Olympique Lyonnais, is therefore in line to battle it out with Luke Shaw for starting duties on the red half of Manchester moving forward, relegating Alex Telles to the club’s 3rd-choice left-back option.
When, though, will Malacia actually be unveiled as a Man United player?
Well, as alluded to above, an insight into precisely that has been provided on Saturday afternoon.
The info comes courtesy of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed that the defender is set to fly into England’s northwest on Sunday, to undergo the first round of his medical tests with the club.
From here, Malacia’s medical will be completed early on Monday, before the Dutchman puts pen to paper on a contract through the summer of 2026.
