Joan Laporta has been speaking about Manchester United’s pursuit of Frenkie de Jong.
The Red Devils have been looking to sign the Dutch defender with Erik ten Hag making him a top target.
However, the latest comments from the FC Barcelona president suggest a deal will be difficult.

Joan Laporta has revealed that Frenkie de Jong is not for sale.
Man United are reportedly working on a deal to sign him.
The Red Devils are said to be close to agreeing a deal for the midfielder, however, Laporta’s latest comments have thrown a spanner in the works.
It is yet to be seen as to whether this is a negotiation tactic from Barca in order to get United to accept their terms or whether Barca are genuinely against selling the Dutch midfielder.
United have managed to get their first Erik ten Hag signing through the door in Tyrell Malacia.
They are also working on a deal to sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer.
