A man has been charged with trespassing and criminal damage at Buckingham Palace.
Daniel Brydges, 33, was accused of illegally entering the grounds of the royal residence on 18 December.
He allegedly damaged the barbed wire fence that surrounds the property on the same day, a member of Westminster Magistrates’ Court said.
He is accused of trespassing again four days later.
The Queen was at Windsor Castle, not Buckingham Palace, when the alleged offences occurred.
Mr Brydges, who is from Portsmouth, will appear at the court on Wednesday.
