A driver had a lucky escape after his car plunged into a river in Norway when a wooden bridge collapsed.
The falling bridge also left a truck stuck in an almost vertical position on a collapsed section.
Police said that a helicopter assisted in the rescue operation in Gudbrandsdalen and pulled out the truck driver.
The driver of the car managed to get out of his vehicle by himself.
A picture from the scene shows the wooden bridge broken into several pieces, with large sections underwater.
Both drivers are doing well after their ordeal, police say.
