PORTLAND, Maine — High Street is closed from Spring Street to Congress Street for emergency utility repair work, according to Portland officials.
The closure is expected to last several days.
Crews will be working around the clock to fix an issue related to underground fiber connectivity, city officials said Friday.
The closure is related to the construction happening on Free Street.
Drivers have been cautioned to be prepared to take a detour in the area for several days.
