A woman died Wednesday afternoon after being hit by a pickup truck in Lewiston.
The woman, whose identity hasn’t been released, was hit at the intersection of Lisbon Street and East Avenue around 4:30 p.m.
The pickup truck was turning onto East Avenue and the driver wasn’t able to stop in time when he saw the woman in the street, according to police.
Police do not believe drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
