Turning up the heat! Stars’ love lives were on fire this year when it came to headline-making hookups, including Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio and many more.
Robach and Holmes set the internet ablaze in late November when photos emerged of the GMA3 coanchors getting cozy throughout the month, despite being married to other people at the time. Though the pair — who have been hosting the third hour of Good Morning America together since 2020 — remained at their jobs in the following days, they were pulled from the air the following week and have not been back since.
“T.J. and Amy are not on camera currently because ABC wants to make sure it’s able to do a full review of their relationship before bringing them back on air,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “ABC is putting resources in so there are no surprises and they have all the information they can before deciding how to proceed.”
Despite the impact on their careers, Holmes and Robach’s relationship has only gotten hotter amid their GMA hiatus. The two were spotted at the Atlanta airport on December 26 and were photographed kissing in Miami several days later.
In the midst of their holiday getaway, Us exclusively revealed that Holmes filed for divorce from his wife, Marilee Fiebig, on December 28. The exes, who share daughter Sabine, had been married since 2010. (Holmes is also father to daughter Brianna and son Jaiden from his previous marriage to Amy Ferson.)
Robach, for her part, shares two daughters with ex-husband Tim McIntosh and has been married to husband Andrew Shue since 2010. The former Today anchor is also stepmom to Shue’s three sons from his previous marriage. The two have yet to reveal their current relationship status.
In addition to the ABC personalities’ romance, Davidson and Ratajkowski also raised eyebrows with their whirlwind relationship over the past two months. Us confirmed the King of Staten Island actor and Ratajkowski’s romance in November, shortly after the stars split from their respective partners over the summer. (Davidson and Kim Kardashian called it quits in August, while the supermodel filed for divorce from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in September.)
“Pete and Emily just dig each other. [They] find the vibe they have very easy and free-flowing,” a source exclusively told Us later that month, noting that Davidson “certainly met his intellectual match in Emily.” The insider explained at the time that the two “intensity or over-expectation” about their relationship. “[There’s] just a lot of fun and a chance to cut loose and see where it leads.”
After being spotted out and about together in the fall and winter — including at a New York Knicks game in early December — the pair split at the end of the month. The pair are “over,” an insider told Us on December 29, revealing that the split was amicable.
