The littlest heirs! Kathy Hilton and husband Rick Hilton’s brood has gotten larger since their children began welcoming babies.
Nicky Hilton was the hotelier couple’s first child to become a parent when daughter Lily-Grace was born in July 2016, whom she welcomed with husband James Rothschild.
“I’m so excited for the baby,” Nicky’s older sister, Paris Hilton, exclusively told Us Weekly the previous May. “She’s going to be such a beautiful little girl, and I can’t wait to meet her. … Now that I know it’s a girl, it’s getting easier to buy things for her. I love all the dresses I got her. There are so many beautiful dresses and little princess outfits. So I can’t wait to see her in them.”
The fashion designer and Rothschild — who wed in 2015 — later expanded their brood with daughter Teddy and a baby boy, who were born in December 2017 and July 2022, respectively.
Rick and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality, who also share son Conrad Hilton, have continued watching their grandchildren count grow when son Barron Hilton II welcomed his two little ones with wife Tessa Hilton (née Gräfin von Walderdorff). Tessa gave birth to daughter Milou in March 2020 and son Caspian in September 2022.
Paris, for her part, had long been candid about her desire to become a mother before welcoming her son with Carter Reum in January 2023 — and her siblings knew she would be a great one.
“I think she’ll be an amazing mom. If how she is with her dogs is any indication, they’re going to be very, very loved,” Nicky previously told Us in December 2021, speculating that a new baby could arrive “pretty soon.” She added: “I think this is something that she’s wanted for a while.”
The Paris in Love star and Reum, who also shares a daughter from a previous relationship, confirmed in January 2023 that their baby boy was born via surrogate.
“We plan to name him Phoenix, a name that I decided on years ago when I was searching cities, countries and states on a map looking for something to go with Paris and London,” Paris read aloud from her eponymous memoir during a prerecorded episode of her “This Is Paris” podcast in February 2023, revealing she wanted her children to also have geographic monikers. “Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more importantly it’s the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again.”
She continued at the time: “I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives. And that this should give us great hope for the future.”
