They can “bearly wait” to meet their little one! Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov celebrated their first child’s arrival with a festive baby shower on Saturday, April 8.
“My mom flew in from New York and created the ‘Bearly Wait’ theme with little teddy bears. She is seriously the best at planning and decorating parties and venues,” the pregnant Dancing With the Stars pro, 30, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the bash. “She’s been doing all my birthdays and [planned] our wedding as well.”
Karagach and her 36-year-old husband, who wed in July 2014, opted to hold their shower at the Santuari restaurant in Los Angeles during brunch. The proud mom-to-be stunned in a bump-hugging white gown, while Pashkov opted for a white button-down and black trousers.
The pair celebrated their little’s arrival with several of their DWTS coworkers, including Sasha Farber, Sharna Burgess, Emma Slater and Alan Bersten. Karagach’s former DWTS partner Joe Baena also attended the bash.
Us previously confirmed in November 2022 that the mirrorball champ and Pashkov are expecting baby No. 1. They announced one month later at Karagach’s 30th birthday party that they are having a daughter.
“Both Pasha and I really wanted a girl! I personally thought it was a boy because of how strong Pasha’s genes are,” Karagach jokingly told Us in April. “His side of the family is all boys! We were overjoyed [to find out] we’re having a girl.”
The New York native, who “100 percent” wants to have more children with the World of Dance alum, also opened up to Us about her “great” pregnancy.
“I’m grateful I was able to work out and keep an active lifestyle. The third trimester has been great so far although she is very active and kicking me in my ribs,” Karagach confessed of her unborn daughter. “It obviously gets harder as I count down to my due date, but I can’t complain.”
The Emmy-nominated choreographer is due on Friday, May 26, and already cannot wait to embrace first-time parenthood and shower their daughter “with so much love.”
“[I’m looking forward to] seeing my baby for the first time and holding her,” the expectant reality TV star gushed earlier this month. “She’s going to be surrounded [by] so much love. Our family can’t wait for her to finally be here.”
In anticipation of their child’s arrival, the Dancing Pizza cofounders have started decorating their neutral-tone nursery — with the help of Buy Buy Baby’s “Ever and Ever” brand — and selected a name.
“We won’t share our name because I feel like that’s something special between [Pasha and I]. We’ve had a name picked out since we started dating,” Karagach confessed to Us. “ [We] always said that would be our baby girl’s name but we first want to wait to see her before deciding on it.”
