A five-year-old boy who died after being hit by a bus in Glasgow has been named by police.
Ayan Khan Nooreen and a nine-year-old girl were struck by a First Bus single-decker at around 5.40pm on Tuesday 4 April.
Ayan was treated by paramedics at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later.
The schoolgirl was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow with serious injuries.
The incident occurred on Calder Street in the city, near the Hickman Street junction.
The road was closed and eventually reopened at around 11.55pm.

Sergeant Nick Twigg said: “Our thoughts are with Ayan’s family and everyone affected by this tragic incident.
“Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information but hasn’t yet spoken to us to come forward.
“In addition, if you have dashcam that could help with our crash investigation then please contact us.”
At the time of the incident, First Bus said it was working with Police Scotland and had launched an investigation.
Duncan Cameron, managing director of First Bus Scotland, added: “Our deepest condolences are with all those involved at this incredibly difficult time.”
