Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a woman was attacked with boiling water in south London.
The victim was taken to hospital after the liquid was thrown at her in Southwark on 10 November last year.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called to reports of an assault on Walworth Road, near the junction with Carter Place, just after 5.35pm.
It was later established that a man who was unknown to the victim threw boiling water at her.
Detectives from the force’s central south command unit launched an investigation and reviewed local CCTV cameras as part of their enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Amanda Mawhinney said: “We are yet to identify a suspect in connection with this attack, and this will clearly be of concern to the victim.
“We have now released an image of a man we want to trace who we think could assist our enquiries.
