Machias Savings Bank is pleased to welcome several new corporators. The corporators were voted on and approved at the Bank’s annual meeting held in May, which had more than 150 officers, directors, and corporators in attendance.
The following individuals have joined the bank as corporators:
Nate Bateman is vice president of the real estate development company Bateman Partners, which he started with his father and brother, as well as Phoenix Management property management. He lives in Falmouth.
Jesse McCue is the owner of Maine Real Estate Management LLC, a full-service property management company overseeing multifamily and commercial properties throughout Maine. Jesse also owns 3 Point Cleaning LLC, a commercial cleaning company that provides service to businesses, schools, hospitals, and government facilities. A real estate investor, he and his wife have holdings in multifamily and commercial properties primarily in Penobscot County.
Chris Carson owns Hampden Electrical. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from the University of Maine, Chris took his first project management position with Enterprise Electric in Lisbon Falls. Shortly after, he moved into a role at Hampden Electrical, became a part-owner in 2013, and in 2022, he and his wife became the full owners of Hampden Electrical. He is a resident of Carmel.
Annie Collins was recently named senior vice president of Human Resources at Cross Insurance Agency. She has been with Cross since 2014. Previously, she worked for Eastern Maine Development Corporation. Annie serves on the Bangor Region YMCA board and is a past chair for FUSION: Bangor. Originally from Presque Isle, she now resides in Bangor.
Allison Economy is an attorney at Rudman Winchell. With more than a decade of experience in litigation and creditors’ rights matters, Allison has handled a wide variety of cases in state and federal courts, ranging from disagreements between business partners to complex construction disputes. She is a director for the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, serves on the boards of IWIRC New England, Friends of the Mountain, and The Maine Highlands, and is former Chair for FUSION: Bangor. Allison also serves on the Maine Bankruptcy Local Rules Committee. She lives in Winterport.
After 14 years as a full-time realtor, Michele Francis joined Acadia Lending Group in 2020. She serves on the boards of Northern Light Maine Coast Memorial & Blue Hill Hospitals and Ellsworth Business Development Corp. She is a member of Bangor Breakfast BNI which connects her to a vast network of area business professionals whom she loves sharing with home buyers. She lives in Dedham.
Alex Ingraham serves as president for Pingree Associates Inc. of Bangor, an eighth-generation family timberland ownership. At Pingree, Alex investigates new business opportunities while monitoring current ventures for Pingree’s clients. Prior to joining Pingree Associates, Alex worked in Northern California as a consulting forester writing and implementing timber harvest plans.
Luke McCannell is vice president and co-owner at Bangor Motorsports and Bangor Tractor and Equipment. Luke holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Orono in mechanical engineering technology. He also owns and operates several commercial real estate and multi-family housing properties. He is a resident of Hermon.
Renee O’Donald started O’Donalds Concrete in 1989 with her husband Rick, and over the course of 30 years they have participated in various large commercial projects throughout the state as well as working for a number of residential contractors in the area. They also operate Lead Mountain Properties, through which they have built and managed several properties in the area. She is a resident of Newburgh and has served on the planning board, budget committee, and the select board for the town. She is currently finishing her third term on the selectman’s board and serves as the chairman of the board.
Heather Rose is a loan originator and Partner of Acadia Lending Group, a mortgage brokerage based in South Portland, which she opened with her husband in 2010. Heather’s journey in finance began when she landed her first job as a teller at Machias Savings Bank at age 16. Throughout her career, Heather has been recognized for her trusted expertise and ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients. Her passion for helping people achieve their homeownership dreams has been the driving force behind her success.
Doug Solman is an owner and the president of Maine Distributors, a family-owned beverage distribution business in Bangor. Doug grew up in the beverage distribution business and has also owned and operated several businesses in different industries throughout his career.
