A search is under way for a missing 15-year-old boy who is feared to have been swept away in a river in Scotland.
Emergency services were called to the River North Esk near Gannochy Bridge, in the village of Edzell in Angus, on Saturday evening.
Police, the fire service and coastguard teams were involved in the operation over the weekend.
Police Scotland said emergency workers are still at the scene as the search continues on Monday.
A force spokesperson said: “Police were made aware of a 15-year-old boy in difficulty in the water in the River North Esk near Gannochy Bridge, Edzell, around 5.10pm on Saturday.
“Emergency services remain in attendance and searches are ongoing.
“The boy’s next of kin are aware.”
