A Gorham motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday evening in a collision with a Jeep in Windham.
Mark Munson, 70, was riding his 2003 Yamaha motorcycle east on Gray Road about 6:36 p.m. when he passed on the left a silver Kia making a right turn onto Cook Road, according to the Windham Police Department.
But as he passed the Kia, a red 2008 Jeep Cherokee driven by Jhennada Meas of Windham turned onto Gray Road, and they collided, Windham police said.
Munson was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation, but Windham police said speed doesn’t appear to be a factor.
