WATERVILLE, Maine — One person was injured in a shooting at a Waterville bakery on Wednesday.
The shooting happened inside the Country Kitchen Bakery Outlet on Kennedy Memorial Drive on Wednesday, according to Chief William Bonney of the Waterville Police Department.
The extent of the person’s injuries were not immediately clear.
The shooting followed a confrontation, according to Bonney. Everyone involved has been accounted for, and an investigation is ongoing.
“At this point the scene is contained, and we are talking with both the shooter and the person that was shot and there is no threat to the public at this time,” Bonney said.
