A lawsuit alleging a Houlton man was injured by staff at a Bangor concert venue has been settled.
The lawsuit against Waterfront Concerts LLC and its sister company, Production Services of Maine LLC, was settled and dismissed with prejudice and without costs on Aug. 3, according to Penobscot County Superior Court records.
No details about the settlement were available in public court records.
Daniel E. Norton Jr. said he suffered neck and shoulder injuries on July 29, 2022, when he attended the Rockzilla Tour at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor.
The Rockzilla Tour was made up of the bands Falling In Reverse and Papa Roach.
In the lawsuit, Norton said concert staff spun him around, picked him up and threw him “violently to the ground.” Employees did not listen to Norton when he said he had a ticket to the concert.
Norton recovered from his injuries but still has anxiety in crowds, his attorney said previously.
