Sheriff Kevin Joyce told ABC affiliate WMTW that a couple inmates tested positive for COVID-19 last week and that number rose to 17 over the weekend.

The infected inmates have been moved to their own pod, where masking is mandatory.

The jail is now screening all people brought to the facility for COVID-19, according to WMTW.
