Dale Houghton, 31, has pleaded guilty to a public order offence after he mocked the death of football mascot Bradley Lowery at a match on Friday.
Houghton, from Rotherham, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Monday. He will be sentenced next month.
Following the incident, more than £11,000 has been raised for The Bradley Lowery Foundation, a charity set up after the six-year-old’s death in 2017.
