A woman has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder a man who later died in hospital.
Amanda Welsh appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court where she was accused of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, impairment, danger to life and attempted murder.
The 30-year-old victim was found seriously injured within a property in Glasgow’s Braid Square shortly after midnight on Saturday.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and died yesterday.
Police Scotland said his next of kin has been made aware and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Welsh, of Glasgow, made no plea. She was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
She is due back in court within the next week.
