A sentencing date has been scheduled for a Maine man who authorities say took part in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.
David Ball of Wells appeared in court Tuesday and pleaded guilty to parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.
During the Capitol riot, Ball had a black sweatshirt with his business’ name, “Broken Glass Company,” on it both inside and outside the Capitol building, according to the charging documents.
Court records said Ball was inside the Capitol for less than 20 minutes.
He’s set to appear in court for his sentencing on Jan. 9, 2024.
