COVID-19 outbreak hits Somerset County Jail

Jail officials told the Waterville Morning Sentinel that two staff members are staying home as well.

The outbreak began in one of the three men’s housing units over the weekend.

The 13 inmates, who are among 126 being held at the Somerset County Jail, are all in quarantine and are being treated for cold-like symptoms.
