A new Michaels craft store is coming to Auburn.
The store will be located at 600 Center St. right next to Jersey Mike’s in the Shaw’s Plaza complex, according to the Sun Journal.
The company told the Sun Journal that it expects to open by the end of February 2024.
Michaels is the largest craft store chain in North America with locations in Augusta, Bangor, Biddeford and Scarborough.
The company operates 1,290 stores in 49 states and Canada.
Michaels competitor, Hobby Lobby, also has a store in Auburn.
