A woman convicted of assault after hurling a burrito bowl at a Chipotle worker has been sentenced to two months of working in a fast food restaurant.
Rosemary Hayne was captured in a viral video screaming at an employee in a branch of the burrito chain before throwing her food in the worker’s face.
Originally, the 39-year-old was sentenced to pay a fine and serve 180 days in jail, with 90 days suspended, but the judge then had a change of heart.
“You didn’t get your burrito bowl the way you like it, and this is how you respond?” Judge Timothy Gilligan asked Hayne at her sentencing in Parma, Ohio.
“This is not Real Housewives Of Parma.’ This behaviour is not acceptable,” he said, according to Sky’s US partner NBC News.
Judge Gilligan told Hayne she could cut 60 days off her time in jail if she agreed to work at least 20 hours per week at a fast food restaurant for two months.
Hayne accepted the offer.

The incident on 5 September was captured by a bystander who posted the video to Reddit, where it went viral.
In court, Hayne apologised and tried to explain the rationale behind her screaming at the Chipotle worker.
“If I showed you how my food looked and how my food looked a week later from that same restaurant, it’s disgusting looking,” Hayne said, according to WJW.
“I bet you won’t be happy with the food you are going to get in the jail,” Judge Gilligan quipped.
Ms Russell told the court she had been so traumatised by the incident she had quit her job at Chipotle.
She said she was stepping in to protect a 17-year-old employee who was getting yelled at by Hayne, adding that the food was hot and burned her face.
“I was so embarrassed and in shock,” she told the outlet. “I couldn’t believe my customers had to witness that.”
