A jury found a former member of the Maine Army National Guard guilty of molesting a young girl multiple times.
Aaron Engroff, 34, of Holden was convicted Wednesday of two counts of the felony charge of unlawful sexual contact and one count of the misdemeanor charge of unlawful sexual touching, according to the Kennebec Journal.
The victim reported that Engroff had touched her on multiple occasions at his home in West Gardiner and at the home of a relative in Augusta in 2020, the Kennebec Journal reported.
Engroff is no longer a full-time active guard and reserve soldier, according to the Kennebec Journal.
A sentencing date has not yet been set.
