LEWISTON, Maine —Lewiston police are investigating multiple gunshots fired outside on Pine St. Sunday morning around 5 a.m.
When police arrived on scene, they found that numerous gunshots had been fired into an apartment at 189 Pine St. Shell casings were found outside of the building and the suspect may have left in a vehicle after the shooting.
Police say this does not appear to be a random shooting because a specific apartment was shot at.
This is still under investigation and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
