BELFAST — Theatre Nouveau, a new theatre company in Belfast, will be holding auditions for its spring production of The Online Bride – a contemporary farce, which will run at the The Basil Burwell Theatre in Belfast from May 30 through June 8.
The piece, written and directed by the company’s Artistic Director Suzanne Ramczyk, is a comedic/farcical mash-up of Moliere and Wycherley, with a smidgen of Oscar Wilde thrown in. It is a “send up” of outdated notions about marriage, the internet, and new-age approaches to wellness and aging.
The company seeks to cast a variety of roles – both male and female. Auditions details:

Theatre Nouveau, situated in Belfast, is Midcoast Maine’s new theatre with a social conscience. In 2023, the company successfully produced the sold-out “The Madwoman of Chaillot—Uncensored”, Ramczyk’s adaptation of Jean Giraudoux’s play, and AddictionSpeaks Again, a contemporary tragedy, an original play based on true stories of addiction from Maine residents.
