Deputies attempted to pull over Hawkes about 10:42 a.m. Wednesday on Littlefield Avenue in Hermon for a traffic violation. But Hawkes didn’t stop and led police on a chase onto the northbound lanes of Interstate 95, according to the sheriff’s office.
