The top-seeded Hampden Academy boys basketball team dispatched No. 5 Camden Hills 64-48 in Wednesday night’s Class A North regional semifinal game at the Augusta Civic Center.
The underdog Windjammers kept it within five points through three quarters but never had a lead, losing grip of the game in the fourth.
Facing Camden’s high energy, full court press virtually all night, the Broncos shared the ball tremendously, tallying 15 assists as a team.
The Broncos will play No. 3 Messalonskee in the Class A regional final at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
